Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Meridian Launch collects when you enquire about company formation, visas or PRO services, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.

01

Who we are

Meridian Launch is a UAE business setup consultancy based in Dubai. We advise founders and companies on free zone, mainland and offshore company formation, investor and employment visas, banking introductions and PRO services.

For the purposes of the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation, we act as the controller of the personal information described in this policy. For enquiries handled on behalf of a licensed free zone authority or government portal, we may act as a processor alongside that authority.

You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@meridianbiz.ae or on +44 7457 425671.

02

Information we collect

We only ask for what we need to answer your enquiry and, if you proceed, to file your application.

  • Contact details you type into our forms: name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number with dialling code.
  • Enquiry details: the jurisdiction or visa you are considering, the number of visas requested, your estimated budget, the package you selected, and anything you write in the message field.
  • Application documents if you become a client: passport copies, photographs, proof of address, and the corporate documents needed by the relevant authority.
  • Communication records: WhatsApp, email and call notes relating to your enquiry.
  • Technical data: the page you submitted from and standard server logs such as IP address and browser type, used to keep the site secure and to understand how it is used.
03

How we collect it

Directly from you, when you complete a form on this site, message us on WhatsApp, email us or speak to a consultant. Automatically, through the small amount of technical data described above when you browse the site. We do not buy contact lists or enrich your details from third-party data brokers.

04

Why we use your information

We use your information to reply to your enquiry and quote for the services you asked about; to prepare and submit licence, visa and bank applications where you instruct us; to keep records of the advice given and the fees agreed; to meet our legal, accounting and anti-money-laundering obligations; and to improve how the site and our service perform.

Our lawful bases are: taking steps at your request before entering a contract, and performing that contract; our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and running our consultancy; compliance with legal obligations, including KYC record-keeping; and your consent where we ask for it, for example for optional marketing updates.

05

Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary for the task in hand, and never sell your personal information.

  • Free zone authorities, registration agents, notaries and government portals that issue your licence or visa.
  • Banks and payment providers when you ask us to arrange an account or process a fee.
  • Trusted service providers who host this site, run our enquiry system and provide email or messaging tools, under contracts that limit their use of your data.
  • Professional advisers, auditors or regulators where the law requires it, or where needed to establish or defend a legal claim.
06

International transfers

We are based in the United Arab Emirates and work with authorities and providers in the UAE. Where your information is transferred from the UK or European Economic Area to the UAE or another country, we rely on appropriate safeguards — such as standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision where one exists — and keep transfers to what the service requires.

07

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become engagements are deleted or anonymised after 24 months. Client files, application records and accounting records are kept for seven years to meet UAE corporate, tax and anti-money-laundering requirements, after which they are securely destroyed.

08

Cookies and analytics

This site uses only the storage needed for it to work and to measure aggregate page activity. We do not run advertising pixels or sell behavioural data. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings; the enquiry forms will keep working.

09

Your rights

Subject to the law that applies to you, you can ask us for a copy of your information, correct anything inaccurate, ask us to delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or ask for it in a portable format. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@meridianbiz.ae. We respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to your local regulator — in the UK the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk), in the EU your national data protection authority, or in the UAE the UAE Data Office.

10

How we protect it

Enquiry data is held in access-controlled systems and shared with consultants on a need-to-know basis. Documents are stored in restricted folders, sent over encrypted channels, and retained only as long as the section above describes.

11

Children

Our services are for business owners and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us details, contact us and we will delete them.

12

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when our services or the law change. The date at the top shows the latest version, and material changes will be flagged on this page.
